What do you enjoy about your job?
I love making connections with children, young adults and their families that can last for years. Seeing how a small change in the way you approach a problem with a child or young adult can have a huge impact on their ability to achieve quality of life and independence. What do you enjoy about working for Therapy Stars?
I love that fact that we get to be treating Physiotherapists who can choose what approaches or “tools” we think will suit every child/family. I also enjoy learning and exploring new developments in Paediatric Physiotherapy and being able to introduce some of these into our service. I hope to be able to pass on my knowledge and skills to other Physiotherapists who are passionate about supporting our clients. What are your interests outside of work?
Netball – I used to play but I am honestly more likely to be found watching these days at Manchester Thunder or on the sidelines supporting my daughter.
Theatre – I love a good musical so usually have tickets booked to look forward to something!
I love being outside-by the sea at our family caravan in Wales, walking with friends or climbing hills and dragging anyone mad enough with me!
My time is also taken up being a taxi to my 2 teenage children and looking after our cat, Mischief.
