Nantwich Physio Services
We offer several types of physio in Nantwich, each offering different benefits depending on your child’s ability. If you aren’t sure which may be best for your child or young adult, our team can help guide you in the right direction.
Our physiotherapy services are available to children up until the age of 18, and beyond when needed. We work specifically with children diagnosed with a range of developmental conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, genetic conditions, neurological conditions, and everything in between. Our children’s physio in Nantwich is tailored based on results from the initial assessment appointment, combined with your movement goals. We’ll use a range of exercises and dynamic movements to get there.
If your child needs to master a skill quickly, make rapid progress, or perhaps recover from injury, they may benefit from intensive physiotherapy. We offer daily physiotherapy sessions across a short period of time as part of our intensive physio service, which usually take place within school holidays or post-surgery. The sessions include several known treatments including DMI (Dynamic Movement Intervention) therapy, therapeutic handling techniques, or whole body vibration.
Hydrotherapy is a form of physiotherapy in water, specifically a pool with a warm temperature of 33°C-35°C. This form of physio can bring a number of benefits from the temperature of the pool including better circulation and pain relief. The water resistance also helps to increase strength and prompts stretching of the muscles. Our Hydrotherapy pool is slightly further away from our physiotherapy facility, however it is still only a short drive away, located near Oswestry. We offer hydrotherapy in six week blocks, at a frequency of one session per week.
Pilates is a low impact form of exercise that can bring a number of benefits, including increasing strength, relieving tension, and is a very effective way to create mind-body connection. Clinical Pilates is a form of Pilates that has been adapted to be used by Physiotherapists to help with prevention and recovery from injuries and health issues. We offer a number of classes for our clients, either on a 1-1 basis or as part of a small group.
