Physiotherapy in Shrewsbury
We’re a team of passionate Paediatric Physiotherapists, offering physiotherapy for babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers, up until the age of 18, and beyond in some cases. Our physiotherapy services are totally bespoke, and we’ll tailor the programme and exercises completely to your child. Our friendly team works out of our Physiotherapy clinic in Wrexham, which is only an hour away.
Intensive Physiotherapy is child’s therapy that is delivered daily for a short burst of time, usually to speed up rehabilitation or to see results in a shorter frame of time. Intensive physiotherapy near Shrewsbury will also help to build confidence as a carer or parent in your ability to continue at-home physiotherapy once the programme ends. Sessions will vary in techniques, frequency, and exercises used depending on the needs and abilities of your child.
Hydrotherapy comes with several therapeutic benefits for children, including the ability to explore movements with additional support, improved circulation, as well as increased relaxation and pain relief from the warm water. Pool sessions are in blocks of 6 weeks, with one session available per week. Our Hydrotherapy pool is located in Oswestry, which is only half an hour away from Shrewsbury, with plenty of options for getting here via public transport if you are unable to drive.
At our Therapy Stars clinic, we offer tailored Pilates for our clients either as part of a small group or on a 1:1 basis. Clinical Pilates combines traditional Pilates with a range of physiotherapy exercises which are beneficial for those with reduced mobility or those recovering from an injury. Each of our instructors has undergone Pilates training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute).
